How to Remove Vararam?

I have a Vararam on my 08 C6. It includes the throttle body spacer. Trying to remove, I unbolted the front piece, undid the hose clamps, but no room to move anything. Looks like the place to begin would be to remove the bolts going through the spacer and into the throttle body?
Any help appreciated!

TB removal

The spacer is clamped in by 4 bolts going from from to back

These bolts are about 1 1/2" longer than the stock ones, these will be too big if you remove the spacer.

I unbolt the front bar, then loosen the clamps on the rear coupler. Use a little muscle and it will separate at the arrow.

Not a user friendly unit I agree nevertheless I still have one.

Not to hijack but it does pertain. I have the spacer and noticed from the pic that my top snorkel piece seats further forward. This makes install more difficult. Really a pain in the arss.
