Faulty TPM
Anyone else have a problem like this? I assume I need a new right front TPM.
However, before you go in, you could check it out a little further.
Does the DIC display change when you drive??? The tire pressures should increase 3 to 4 psi when the tires heat up while driving. If not, then the sensors are not programmed into the TPMS computer in the car.
Do you have a compressor?
If so, pump the RF tire up to about 40 psi on your pressure gauge. If the car has been sitting for more than about 15 minutes then the sensors are only transmitting once per hour, so you'll have to take it out and drive it a few minutes to get them to start transmitting in the drive mode, which is every 60 seconds, and it should update on the DIC.
If you do that, the question would be - does the DIC now indicate that the RF is up to 36 psi??? 40??? No change???

If it's still 4 psi low (i.e., now at 36 when your gauge shows 40), then you can definitely tell the dealership the RF sensor has a problem and that you'd like a new one.
Butt......you may find out that the pressure doesn't change at all!!!
That would indicate that the tire pressure sensors aren't properly programmed into the TPMS computer in the car.
That could happen if you swapped wheels/tires/sensors. I assume you still have the original wheels on the car, but it's not unkown for dealerships to swap wheels on cars in inventory if somebody wants the red car they have on the floor, but it has painted wheels and the buyer wants chrome.
What wheels are on your car? Did you order the car, or was it sitting on a dealer's lot? You can check the RPO codes in the glove box to see what wheels came on the car - are they the same wheels that were on it when you bought it? If not, the dealer may have made a switch and didn't reprogram the new sensors to the TPMS.
So....standing by for some more info after you check some things out.
BTW, if you do need a new sensor, the 2010 model year C6 uses a different sensor than the 2005 to 2009 model year cars. Make sure you get the correct one.
Also, if you try changing air pressure to see if the sensors are programmed, and you find that they are not, on the 2010 C6 you can do the relearn procedure to program your sensors by just changing air pressure in the tire - you don't need an expensive tool. Take a look at this thread and scroll down to post# 15 where GSRandy confirms the procedure for us:
