new c6, air intake, exhaust done, run 96 octane, what should be next, plugs, wires, coils, etc. from the land of no interstate speed limits, unoffically. thanks, nhp badge 775
You didn't mention exactly what you've done to the intake or exhaust. Are you running Long Tubes with hi-flow cats and x-pipe? When you say intake, are you talking CAI or Intake manifold? These variables will make a big diff on your next step. Forget the plugs, wires and coils for now--there's no need to change them out unless they are faulty. If you reference to intake means CAI only, then you may want to consider a ported FAST intake manifold with Ported throttle body for more torque. Are you running LS2, LS3, LS7? Are you A4, A6 or MZ6?
Your list of mods includes everything that does nothing on a corvette.
The exhaust doesnt do anything for you until you close in on 500rwhp and even then nothing aftermarket nets you anything over the NPP bimode exhaust which I hope wasnt what you took off the car. GM actually did a great job on the stock exhausts.
The cold air intake does get you a few HP when moving.
Plugs, coils, wires, ect are all the same ones used on big horsepower cars, so dont bother wasting money on swapping them out. Save up and get a cam swap and headers which are the two best mods that factually make power on a LS3 C6. If your response is that you dont want to spend that much then youre done modding. The rest is a waste of your money.

If you're running 96 octane, you should get it tuned for it or else you're just wasting money. Stock C6s run fine on 91. This is assuming you will always run 96 and don't plan on driving anyplace where you may have no choice but to fill up with something less than 96.
