C6 and battery tender

C6 and battery tender
Can a battery tender be attached to the "jump box" under the hood as opposed to actually attaching to the battery? Would be easer for me to do it this way if it would work. Appreicate your insight to my question.

If the car sits more than a week without being driven the battery starts to lose its charge. Since I work out of my house I might not actually drive the car every day so I want to maintain a full charge on the battery at all times. I will be driving even less during the coldest months of the winter but I want the car to be ready should I want to venture out.
