ok. I thought I understood. comp mode was traction off; ah on. Traction off(with the orange skid vette light) meant traction and ah off. and normal is ah and traction on....but when i pushed the button once from start up the orange light with the skid vette came on. I thought traction and ah was off. I romped on it; tires spun, but active handling read across the display and it straightened the car back up.. any insight is much appreciated Thank you!
There are 4 modes to the Traction Control/Active Handling systems.
When you start the car it defaults to TC on and AH full on
One push of the button turns off TC
A second push of the button within 5 seconds is Comp Mode - TC off, AH still on but it's not as intrusive, it will let the car go a little farther before it intervenes
Push and hold the button for more than 5 seconds (or as long as it takes to get the DIC message) and TC and AH are completely off
