I thought it was 85-87 Lbs ? Can't remember where I got that number from but that's what I'm using.

I checked my owner's manual a few days ago to get the lug nut torque spec. For a 2005 coupe it is 100 foot pounds. I have the polished aluminum wheels.

Too low!! GM specs for vette lug nuts has been 100 ft-lbs since at least the beginning of the C5 generation. My 99 Honda Accord is either 80 or 85 ft-lbs.

It has been at least 100 lbs since the beginning of the C4 era and may have been that high since the C3s started shipping with aluminum wheels. One thing I have found is it doesn't usually come loose once you get it that tight. After driving for a few days and rechecking the nuts do not turn any before the torque wrench clicks.

My experience as well. I usually check the lugs a couple weeks later and more after the initial mounting and I have never found a lug nut less than the original torque value. I always use a 3-stage star pattern at 50, then 75 and finally at 100 ft-lbs with a Sears torque wrench that I store in my bedroom closet to keep it away from my humid garage.

I double checked-I'm running iForged wheels and the wheel manufacturer calls for 85lbs on their wheels.

Honda / Acura has the same size studs and nuts, but has a lower spec. I noticed that also when I put the winter tires on my Acura. I don't understand why they are different, but they are.
