Default Throttle body coolant bypass

Do the 2007s still have a coolant line to the TB or did that go away after 2006?

Depends on what you mean by "TB". If you mean throttle body then no. No LS2 has a coolant line to the TB. My '05 didn't and my '08 doesn't.

Got it, thanks. Must have got some bad gouge on that. Maybe it was the C5s?

You got bad info from somewhere but don't feel bad about it. The '05 Factory Service Manual says to drain coolant before changing intake manifolds but there is no coolant connection anywhere on the intake manifold or related parts that have to be removed.

The coolant bypass was a big thing to do on the LS1 throttle bodies, but luckily GM decided to eliminate the coolant passageway in the LS2 & LS3 throttle bodies.

I believe someone is confusing LS1's with the LT-1's.

Darn, my memory is failing me again. I had a 94 Camaro Z28 with an LT1, then an 01 Z28 with the LS1. I know I did a coolant bypass on one of them, must have been the 94!!! Thanks for the correction.

Your memory is probably fine, my 98 LS1 5.7L and my 01 6.0 L Silverado both had the coolant line through the throttle body. [ operative word " had" ] .
