Default Please Help: Seat Wiring Question

I was wondering if someone would tell me how the passenger seat pressure (occupancy) sensor works. I am installing aftermarket seats and trying to incorporate the factory wiring and sensors. Where I am getting lost is that there is three wires going to the sensor. If there were only two I would just assume that they make contact together when there is someone in the seat. But I am lost with the third wire.

So after looking into it a bit more it appears that the sensor is actually a MAP sensor or at least something that looks exactly like it. If it is indeed a MAP sensor then I know one of the wires is a ground another one supplies 5v. Meaning the extra wire just outputs a certain voltage based in the pressure. Based off of this can anyone tell me what, or where I can find, the voltage that would have to be put out in order for the seat to think it has an occupant?

I ran into this when I put 05 3LT seats into my 07. The 05 seats did not have a presence plate. I had a thread on the Tech forum and the General forum. Do a search there. I can PM you the wiring diagrams I used to get the seats working in my 1LT car, if you want
