I have an '07 Z06 and am wondering if anyone has had any issues with the E3 plugs. When I am driving and not accelerating much (almost coasting) the car seems to jump or slightly buck. It does it in any gear but mostly feel it in 5th when I am going about 45. It's not real bad, but gets on your nerves a little. I put the E3s in as soon as I got the car and I'm not sure if the stock plugs were OK. Just curious if anyone else has had this problem.
(Also just started getting the check charging system message at idle and I have heard some plugs can cause this also)
Have you did a search here on the forum? I have read here many times not to use them as they cause problems with the ignition. I suggest you go back to the stock plugs before you damage something severly.

We have had a couple customer's come in with them in their car wanting retunes. Each time it was the plugs causing issues. Went back to standard NGK plugs and problems were solved. There is no way I would install them in a customer's car, much less mine.

Pure snake oil just like Split-Fire plugs and all the rest of the promise you 50 mpg and 100 more hp stuff.
Put one in my lawn mower because that's the only brand the Parts Store had that would fit. It was hard to start and never ran right.

Don't know that I would call the Split-Fire brand/type snake oil. They are not the same as the E3's. Go do a little research on spark plug history and you will find there have been dual electrode plugs from the very beginning.

You are correct the new Splitfire with the single electrode is probably a decent plug. I was refering to the originals that looked like the E3 with the split ground electrode. They were hyped to do all kinds of wonderful things that didn't happen.
I'm quite aware of multi-electrode plugs, with Bosch being a supplier. If they're so wonderful, why don't car manufactures use them as original equipment? Maybe the fact that the additional electrode size creates a hot spot that can lead to detonation.
