LS2 to 3 Vararam
Hey Guys,
I just went LS2 to 3 and had a Vararam from my 06 on the shelf in the basement.
I was going to use the new Attack Blue on the 08 but thought I would revisit the Vararam to Maggie take off.
Called Vararam they said it would work, but upon closer inspection I am not so sure.
What do you do with the MAF sensor in factory Air box and the EVAP or PCV line in the accordian flex.
I do not see any provisions.
I just read for two hours and the only instructions I can find show LS2 pics. here and at Vararam.
Am I missing a piece that is necessary for the LS3?
Input appreciated
Thanks,
Kevin

you need a vararam maf housing like your ls2 maf housing, except the vararam one is blank so you can put your maf in it from the factory air box, hope this helps

I don't own a vararam, but the 08's have a different maf setup. I'm guessing you'll need that maf housing (vararam, IIRC, has that housing).

Dennis,
Yes, Thanks, This helps.
I believe LS2 used a MAF and LS3 a MAS, I need to put MAS in this blank piece from Vararam.
I might Use the Attack Blue, cleaner install, but I have Vararam on shelf, maybe I will donate it to the Forum for Saint Jude.
Or, I might just skip all that and order an E Force and skip all the little stuff.
