Default What is fair?

My passenger rear fender was damaged this morning, however so far it appears to only need paint.

I was wondering what I should be expecting to pay for a single panel to be painted in machine silver? I try calling and no one wants to give me a ballpark figure. I know it isn't easy to do, and I don't currently have a picture of the damage to share.

I can't take it anywhere to get a real estimate today, I was just wondering what I should be expecting to pay as a "fair" price. The damage is isolated to the fender only.

I figured it safe to assume that the entire panel would need to be painted, and I figured since so many people have had widebodies done that someone would know.

Thanks in advance

The quote I got from the Chevy dealer was 550 to paint my silver bumper, it will probably be on par with that. Take it in, an estimate takes only about ten minutes.

That's around what I was thinking, thanks.
