Rear Suspension Maintenance
For what it is worth. Model Year 2005.
I found the rear sway bar isolator bushings hardened, probably from muffler heat.
Wear can be noticiable by the circular bushing hole becoming oblong with visual inspection once removed. Part cost is $9 a bushing and can be done in your home garage with a jack and without removing the wheels. Base, Z51, Z06 et al have different sized bushings.
It is also worth checking the torque on the control arms, cross members, and any other bolt you can get a torque wrench on both front and rear suspension components as maintenance.
