I have a C6 stick shift with 12500 miles on it. I get a clonking noise which seems to be coming from the drive line. It happens at slow speed forward and reverse as soon as you accelerate it goes. Is this a common problem, any one have any ideas before I take it to a dealer?

 

I'm having the same issue. Did you ever find out what was making the noise. I realize your post is old, but I thought u may have fixed.

 

It's worth checking your rear axle nuts to see if they are loose.
