As soon as the top is down in the trunk and while the hatch is all the way open press the auto top button again to stop the process.
Install your brackets, left and right, with legs down and to the center of the car. Press auto top button to complete the closing of the hatch.
The brackets are now locked in place and the Vette Net can be inserted into the legs of the brackets.

The difference being that this one can be adjusted up and down about 3 inches.
