PA- go back and check all your bolts, too. A few heat cycles, road bumps, etc might jar something loose. Keeping your mid pipe off the ground is a good thing.

Don't ask how I learned this little factoid.......ha!

HAHA! Yeah, I figured I'd put a few miles and heat cycles on before going back over everything.

I'm also installing LG long tubes and I'm wondering how high did you have to raise the car to get the headers in?

On jackstands about 12" off the floor will do it!

I have 6" high ramps. Can I just drive the front up on them and jack the rear of the car up as high as possible and put jack stand under?

6" won't get it, you need at least 12".

A little advice here:
Invest in some decent jackstands. It will make the job lots easier!
Plus you'll have them when other things crop like oil changes, exhuast leak issues etc...LOL.

I needed 12" to get my fat a$$ under the car to install the o2 sensors and extensions.

I fixed the problem and now have a lift.

My ramps only get the car 7" off the ground or so, which gives about a foot of ground clearance. It was enough, but not roomy. I'm in decent shape, so I don't have to worry about gut clearance, but if that's an issue, then this height may not be enough for you. For the parts, though, this was plenty of clearance; just gotta twist the headers a little and manipulate them a bit. No biggie.

Needed to throw in my two cents...

You can get Race Ramps in 8 inch high (56" Model) or 10 inch high (XT Model) versions for the front wheels, and Roll Ups for the back wheels, which are 4" high. This provides an easy "roll on" solution to gain clearance.

This provides good working room.

check out http://www.raceramps.com/rollups.html - midway down the page and to the right - to see what I'm describing.
