Finally a sane price for an air cleaner assembly. It looks simple and effective.

All very true. It also is extremely high quality and DOES NOT throw off the fuel trims as most aftermarket intakes do. It is currently the only intake offered by Charlie @ RPM Motors for these reasons. I am quite happy with mine.

I installed one a couple of weeks back. Fit and finish is great. I also tuned the car at the same time so I can't say with 100% certainty how much can be attributed just to the intake.

I have this intake. I bought it when it first came out.

I thought for sure that there was definitely an improvement, but thought maybe my butt dyno wasn't calibrated correctly. And then racing against one of my buddies there was definitely a gain.

Finally took it to a dyno and it put down 22 rwhp more from before. I tune, so my car was baselined first ofcourse.

I definitely believe this is one of the, if not the best, performing intakes on the market, with the best quality on the market.

How often do you clean yours? I only ask as I've had mine for around 10k miles now and it still looks oiled/clean, but it is hard to tell with the wire mesh.

I'm not really sure on the performance gains. We did all the original dyno tuning (after my cam/header/FAST install) with the Vararam on the car. I had some part-throttle surge issues, so I swapped it out for the Airaid and Charlie made a bunch of part-throttle changes for driveability.

We didn't have any time to put it back on the dyno. I do know that my fuel trims were way out of whack with the Vararam, and the Airaid put them back right near zero. I remember Charlie posting up some solid gains with the intake. Maybe I can find them for you.

All sales generated by Corvette Forum produce a donation to ST Jude's from us.

Mission statement about us: We like to offer one brand of component ( in this case intake system) rather than spam as many parts as we can get our hands on. Quality for sensible money is our credo. You wont see us trying to sell a Vararam right next to an Airaid, ARH right next to SW or Kooks. We do this for a reason. We drive what I sell

If I wont put it on my car how can I tell you out of the side of my mouth you should put it on yours ?

Thats not to say unless I say it it isn't any good either, it just means that I am offering what I feel is the better product for the money.

Yes, it would be considered a cold air intake system, Airaid does make just filters though as well.
