just got my diminished value check from the insurance and am looking to put more mods on. i have a 07 m6 the car already has a varaam intake, 160 them, and z06 sway bars. not looking to make the car a 1/4 mile car. i would like more power for toying around with other cars.
Well 5k would be enough to heads cam your car. If you on a budget and want heads cam your best bet would be to have advanced induction do up your stock 243's. They are the company that did the r&d on the 243 head for gm and for what they charge to do the heads you can't go wrong.
... I picked up about 80 rwhp with a LG Pro Longtubes, 228/232 cam, FAST 102 and a tune. All for about 5K.
Pretty close but I think I had over $5,000. those incidentals, Like porting
The FAST & TB but that would be the logical way to go. I would not put a Cam in without the said boltons.
Quote from A&A's website "Average increase TO THE REAR WHEELS is approximately 175 RWHP! No other modification, in this price range, even comes close."
