Default Traction system active displayed

Ever since I got a new set of Potenza RE-11s installed and a racier alignment, between 45 and 55 miles/hour, the message, "Traction System Active" is displayed. I can reproduce this at will, and in different gears, in a straight line, barely on the throttle. Has anyone experienced this before? Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?

What do you mean by "a racier alignment" exactly? Does it happen at 45-55 mph and up? Or just between 45-55 mph?

Sounds like you may have a mismatch on tire sizes. The computer is reading your front tires as moving slower than the back tires and trying to compensate.

More negative camber and some toe in. I think it happens only between these speeds, but I am going to recheck.

As already stated...you have a mismatch in the tire size. The alignment won't cause that.

Duh. How did I not think of this. Doing the math, I went from tire diameters (f/r, inches) 21.86/22.93 to 22.33/22.60. Does anyone know if I can use my HP Tuners to reprogram the correct sizes in the cars computer?

HPTuners will only allow you to do a speedo correction. You will need to get a taller rear tire.

Screw that, I'll just make sure to turn TC off every time I get in the car. I'm not giving my RE11s up and they don't make anything taller for the rear.

Trade for a smaller front tire?

Your tire diameters look wrong, try this link;

Yeah, I forgot to double the value for sidewall height before adding it to the diameter. So much for quickie tire size spreadsheet. The point still remains that I increased the size of the front tires relative to the rears and that is causing my problems.
