Is there a tire dressing that isn't a dust magnet? I have to drive about a 1/4 mile on a dirt road, and all the ones I have tried left the tires looking worse than just washing them.

Don't know if it will solve your problem, but try plain o' Lemon Pledge in the aerosol can. It has the same ingredient as most of the tire shine products and it does not seem to attract much dust.
The two things that I kept using from Zaino are the tire dressing (not a high gloss if that's what you're looking for ) and their leather cleaner/treatment (I'm addicted to the smell :o ). If you're looking for an over the counter brand, just stay away from Armor All (JMHO).
I've been using Meguiar's "Endurance" for several years now. It's low gloss if you apply it with a rag and then wipe it down. Best of all, it lasts a long time (weeks) through anything you can throw at it. Dust and dirt and brake dust don't stick to it - everything hoses right off. Just make sure it's had time to set before you do the dirt road that first time

I have been using Armor-ALL Gel. It does leave a shine. Although when it dries I have not noticed it attracting more dirt.....I do plan to use a different brand.

Yup, pledge it is....it works great, NO shine at all, just wash you tire with soap and water, let dry and spray Pledge on a rag that does not shed and rub it on the sidewall. Plus it is a fraction of the cost of tire products that always seem to leave a shiny tire.

Wow! Another Pledge fan! Been using it for 20 years.
I just spray the tires directly and walk away. For the engine compartment, I spray it with Simple Green, power wash, blow it dry with a leaf blower, then mist it all with Pledge and walk away. Wipe down off any excess on the covers. Done.
Works great on all interior vinyl, door panels, and dash pad, too. Leaves a mat finish not shiny or oily. Does not attract dust. I looked up the main ingredient and its the same as many of the other tire products.
I even wrote an email to the company asking if it was safe to use on tires and they sent me a letter saying it was fine. I buy the big Lemon Pledge spray cans at Home Depot.
