difference between a 06-07-08 z06

i have a freind looking to buy one and the prices of 06s are getting down,i know the 07 and 8 have a different warrenty is there a reason to stay away from a 06.

The 08 has a cool console but you can put one in an 06 or 07. Biggest difference is the trans. 06/07 has a T-56 and the 08+ have T-6060. Steering ratios changed in 2009.
