Does anyone at West Coast Corvette monitor this forum; if so I need some help solving a problem? I purchased a set of four rims and have a problem with the rear wheels having a wobble on the inside which causes a vibration at freeway speeds. I have been in contact with your Sales Manager Bobbie Yorba by phone and email but after sending videos of the rear wheels wobbling 2 weeks ago I have heard nothing about solving my problem with these obviously defective wheels. Please someone contact me about this issue.
Have you removed the wheels to see if there is something (like a retaining push clip) stopping the wheels from sitting flush? Due to the offset the inside of the wheel will be more noticable if you have this issue.
i have had an issue like this on aftermarket wheels in the past and have received the "if you put a tire on it then it's yours, bad or not" Hopefully if yours are bad you get a better answer than I did.

My friend just had this same exact problem with his wife's brand new Mustang with wheels he bought aftermarket. Wheels wobbled, drove him nuts, remounted and rebalanced several times. He was so frustrated that he was about to put the stock wheels back on. He finally called the retailer, they had him remove the retaining clips and now the car is perfect. Check yours.
The rotor retaining clips were removed back in 2006 after I replaced the original rotors with DBA rotors. The tire shop was the one that caught the wheel wobble when balancing the tires; the wheels are wobbling both in and out and up and down ON THE INSIDE ONLY, the run out on the outside is near perfect. I feel that these ACE R1 Alloy rear wheels are defective from the manufacture as there was no sign of shipping damage.
