HELP please.... Torx size needed
I'm installing the MGW shifter on my 06 z06 and I also purchased a newer model shifter base to also install. I just realized I need a huge torx screwdriver to remove the 3 screws on the base shifter... Does anyone know the size that I need to remove these?
I'm trying to go out and buy it now but not sure of the size or where to get it.

Why not just buy a set of torx bits for your 3/8 drive socket set? That way you will have the ability to do more than a couple of things. Price might not be that much more as it seems sets of hand tools sell for just a bit more than the cost of a single hand tool.

Yep went to Home Depot and got a kit for $15. It was a size 40.
I went from hurst to MGW with newer shifter base and it feels amazing.
Smooth shifts and no rattle at all.
