Unless you are getting some kind of cold air to the motor I think your wasting your money.
I'm a big believer in the Vette-Air. Take a look at it. It gets cold air to the intake, and you can keep what you have, which is a pretty good system.

I have checked in my owners manual on our '09 and the C6 AND ZO6 take the Same air filter. I figure if it's good enough for the 505 horsepower LS7 then it's good enough for my LS3 436 horsepower. The only thing i changed was the t-stat to a cooler one and very satisfied with it.
