My , new to me, 08 is rubbing in the dips in my street and drive way. My 04 did not. It looks like with the longer wheel base and shorter nose this shouldn't happen. The front looks very low. Can some one give me the correct ride height and tell me where to measure it ? Thanks. Later! Frank

FWIW, my '08 does it too. My C5 didn't (until I lowered it).
Also if you have the Z51 option, it rides a little lower in the front. I have the Z51 option and I am always hitting the air dam. I have noticed by comparing side by side my Z51 optioned Corvette to the standard suspension C6's the Z51's appear to sit slightly lower in the front. The above specs also indicate that, if only by a small am amount.

I really would not worry about it, as all C6s have this condition. My 08 Z51 rubs the front air dam (the black plastic piece set back under the bumper) on a regular basis. I cannot get out of my driveway without it scraping. When you look at how close that 3-piece air dam is to the ground, it should be no surprise that it rubs.
It even states in the owner's manual that these type of sounds are normal . It kind of bugged me when I first bought the car, but then I realized how cheap and easy to replace that air dam set was. I just try to take it easy over dips and inclines. It is a sports car, after all. If the air dam starts looking really ugly, I'll just replace it. No big deal.
Just to add to what is already stated, I have 345/30/19s out back. That adds almost an inch to rear ride height. I have raised the front and lowered the back to compensate.
It helps but this is not a full solution, so long live the parts catalog.
