Default quest for low 11's

I was wondering if you experienced experts can help me out I'm new to the forum just bought my first vette a 2005 ls2 with automatic. I Would like to get the car deep into the 11 second range. Is this possible to do with headers, cai, stall converter, and a tune. What combination of parts Would you guys recommend any help is greatly appreciated thanks

I'm certainly no expert but I'll my .02
The mods listed are good and a higher stall converter is important. Your 60' times are a very important factor to getting well into 11s. You might consider getting an 18" wheel and some drag radials (MT ET Streets), and a line lock to do a really good burn out.

You might check the "1/4 mile challenge" thread at the top of the tech/ performance page to see what cars with similar mods are doing in the 1/4. Good luck with the quest.

The most popular DRs used by those running 11's or quicker are MT or Hoosier in a 275/40 x 17 size.

I will depend heavily on the track you race at too. I know Im opening up a can of worms here but the air, track prep, tempuratures play a huge role in your times. Your off to a good start with the mods though.
