Optimal and Max Temps for A6?

I think the jury is still out on what exactly are the optimal operating temps for the 6L80/A6 trans, I used to think it was around 130-145 degrees but now I'm not so sure, it might perform even better at 150-175.
Many will agree that the max temps one would want to see are in the 210-225 degree range for any extended period of time, anything too much higher than that and it might be best to stop and let the trans cool a little bit.

I bought my 07 new in November 2006, the coolest I have seen the A6 (highway cruising for extended periods at 80MPH) was Dec '07 158 w/outside temp at 61 and the hottest was Aug '09 207 w/outside temp at 114.
