Widest tires

What are the widest tires you can put on a 2009 C6 LS3 stock rims 18 and 19

i am running
265/35X 18
305/30 X 19

on stock wheels, and this keep sthe ratio the same. (helps traction control and active handeling)

I have been struggling with this question also since I am close to replacement time again. We have stock 18x8.5 and 19x10 wheels. The 305/30x19 recommends wheels of 10.5 - 11.5, and the 265/35x18 recommends wheels of 9 - 10.5. So I am concerned of putting these on stock size wheels.

Here is some interesting info from TireRack. I currently have the Firestones and their tread width is almost the same in stock sizes as these wider size tires. FWIW

265/35 X 18 Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110 Rim Width 9 - 10.5, tread width 9.1, diam. 25.3"
$180 280 AA A

245/40 x 18 OEM Goodyear Rim Width 8 - 9.5, tread width 7.7, diam 25.7"
$297 300 AA A

245/40 x 18 Firestone WO RFT Rim Width 8 - 9.5, tread width 8.2, diam 25.7"
$216 320 AA A

305/30 X 19 Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110 Rim Width 10.5 to 11.5, tread width 10.8, diam. 26.3"
$221 280 AA A

285/35 x 19 OEM Goodyear Rim Width 9.5 - 11, tread width 9.2, diam. 26.9"
$345 300 AA A

285/35 x 19 Firestone WO RFT Rim Width 9.5 - 11, tread width 10.4, diam. 26.9"
$299 320 AA A

anybody running a 315 tire on a stock rim? i'm running a 305 and it seems small due to the short sidewall....305/30/19

I am not aware of anybody that makes a street tire in a 315/ ? R19. There are 305's and 325's out there, but no 315. The only 315 I remember seeing was a road race tire from Hooser if I remember correctly.

325 is pretty wide for a 10 rim. it CAN be done, but how well is the qestion.

thanks, i'd be willing to buy a better rim that would fit a 325 tire if i knew it would fit. any suggestions?
