While changing the oil for the first time on my ZR1, I noticed that the "sensor" on the lower left of the transmission is broken, and the wire that goes to it is just hanging there. What is this sensor? Is it fluid temperature, or fluid level, or something else?
If that isn't it, try to post a pic or two. Maybe the ZR1 has something I haven't seen or am just not thinking of.
I did'nt know that ZR1's had CAG installed. They are subject to gas guzzler tax, which eliminates the need for CAG. CAG is to prevent gas guzzler tax on all the rest (of models of Vettes). Correct me if I'm wrong someone....

You're probably right. I didn't even think about that. Well, then I don't know what the wire/sensor would be. I'll be watching and learning.
