Default Damaged Nav screen

Hi, well I did something dumb, I dont like the GM nav unit so I tried using a suction holder for my garmin to see If I could use that. Well that was a huge mistake, I took off the suction holder and there was a spider web pattern barely visible. I tried to use some of the nav and radio functions and guess what, some dont work, some require using 2 fingers on the touch screen. I'm looking for suggestions as I'm sure no one is as dumb as me. I have the full extended warranty but havent got that far yet. Has anone replaced just the front screen? Thanks

Jeff

Replacement of the NAV screen would have to be done by a very experienced proffesional. If it was fixed under warranty they would have to replace the entire unit. If you want to do it yourself you will have to replace the entire unit. Or, if you don't feel like spending the money on an OEM unit check out some after market NAV units also.

Replace the stock nav unit with a Kenwood DNX9140 nav. I'm upgrading my 9140 to a 9960 next week and I'll be selling the 9140 for $650. This is your opportunity to upgrade from the junk stock nav to a great one, and you get a better audio system to boot.
