Need some help please. Had the clutch replaced about 6 months ago on '08 Coupe Z51 6 Manual. I am now hearing a "whining" sound when the clutch is engaged and I rev the car up in neutral.
Any ideas on what it may be. It sounds like a bearing that is spinning
Maybe there was a bad run of GM slave cylinders with the throw out bearings recently?
I just replaced clutch, pilot bearing, slave cylinder 4 months ago and I am already experiencing intermittent whining/scraping sound/feel in the pedal when shifting sometimes.
It happens randomly and occassionally, but I am sure it will only get worse.
Never had a problem on the original slave cylinder/throw out bearing, so this preventative step seems to have been anything but...
