So I moved up here to CT from PA and I was up here for about two weeks when I had to drive home for some parts that I ordered for my Corvette. On the way back my check engine light came on. When I got home I hooked up my OBDII tool to it and got the P0175 code: System too Rich (Bank 2). I reset it and hoped it wouldn't come on again, but it did. It came on today when I was driving to work. Anybody know what could be causing this? I've never had it come on before. I have a paxton supercharger 1500sli done by East Coast Superchargers and a Borla exhaust on it. It's a 2005 coupe. My OBDII is telling me the car won't pass a PA Emissions test, so I'd like to get it fixed before then or else I'm screwed. Thanks in advance!
When the system goes rich on one side, it usually means that there is air coming in after the throttle body. The MAF reads the air and sets the fuel. IF more air comes in after the MAF (usually the TB) the system tries to adjust by adding more fuel and going nuts rich.
You're major rich on side 2 usually indicates the A/F has been set to fix the "extra air" of a vacuum leak. This can be confirmed if you can read your LTFT on your car. If one is +25, you have a air leak.

Ok, thanks. If that's the case what do you suggest looking at to fix it? I've done some work on cars before, but mostly it was my 81 or 70 and I don't find that as complicated as the new one. Besides that I normally have a trouble shooting/repair book there to help me. I know where the MAF sensor is, but not sure what I should be checking after that. Am I look for tubes (like vacuum tubes?) that are worn/cracked, or am I just looking for one that might just have came loose to where it was connected? I'm not really sure cause I don't really see anything that pops out as being wrong.
Yes, I believe that will be a great help. I hope it's not a costly problem. Thanks Elmer! The links don't seem to want to work though. For example, where it says: "Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Replacement - Bank 2 ." I can't get that link to work. Do they work for you?
The diagnostic sheet is a captured screen off of a DVD. The links will not work without the DVD. If you need that information, I can "capture" the link for you.
I'm not sure what has happened, but today (being the weekend) I went out to look at the car (and do everything you were saying) and when I started it up my check engine light was off. I had my scan tool hooked up and it read that my car was green, as in it would pass emissions. When the light was on it was reading red. So I'm not sure what has happened since then, but maybe it's alright now? I'm going to drive it this week anyway and see how it goes. If it comes back on I'll do the checks this coming weekend. I hope it stays off though of course.
I still want to thank you for you help. That will come in handy if it comes back on.
