Default Can someone post M2W visor program?

There are plenty of "M2W" and "Visor" threads that come up on the search function, but I can't seem to find the thread that explains how to program the early 2006 Visor to control the M2W settings. Can someone please post this thread again for me?

Thanks!

Ok, I found out how to do it.

1. You need to clear the old codes out by pressing down the left and center visor buttons, at the same time, for about 25 seconds, until the red light on the visor starts blinking rapidly.

2. Then you need to put the M2W fob right up next to the visor buttons. Press the left (or whichever button you chose) visor button, and the fob “on” button at the same time, and hold them both down until the red light on the visor blinks rapidly (about 25 seconds).

3. Next hit the center visor button (or whichever visor button you chose) and the “off” fob button at the same time, and hold until the red light on the visor starts blinking rapidly (about 25 seconds).

Done !!

Just make sure that when you are programming the visor buttons the fob is almost touching the visor buttons. And make sure to press down the fob button and the visor button at the same time.

Easy easy easy.

Just want to add... this only works up through 2006 models. I have heard that in 2007 GM changed the design on the Homelink such that this trick with the M2W switch won't work.

i was able to do this in my 2006 Z06, but I've seen a number of 2007-up owners who could not.

Also, to clear the existing programming on the buttons... I think it's the two outside buttons. (left and right button). It was for me.
