Default 2005 A4 Drivetrain Question

I have just started taking my 2005 with 4 speed auto to the track for autocross and road raceing. My first trip was at VIR and I had problem in the turns of losing the transmission. Good RPM just nothing going to rear wheels until I got it straight. Today I was doing some low speed autocross and had the same problem. Eash time I went into a turn nothing to rear wheels until I got it straight. Had the car to the dealer with no help. Does anyone on here have any idea as to what the heck is going on. I also drag race the car without any problems.

it works that way because of the active handling and traction control, i turn the ah&tc off, but i think in road racing you need competitive driving mod

I am gonna guess and say you were running it in overdrive vs. 3rd. Right?

You need to not run it on the track in overdrive. This sounds like what I discovered early on when I got my 05 A4 when I came into an interstate on-ramp hard . ... same symptoms .... one of the vette engineers I spoke to at BG told me for perf driving it should not be in overdrive.

Was in 3rd gear at the time. Really has me baffled, love to run autocross but this really hurts my times.

To turn off all the nannies you have to hold the button down for aprox. 10 sec. Try that and see what happens.
