Hood Weight??

Quick question: How much does a stock coupe hood weigh?

Bathroom scale showed 21/22lbs with hoodliner.

Believe thats very close but I'm sure others will chime in with their findings as well.

Halltech was selling a ZR1 hood and said it weighs 17 pounds versus the stock hood's 27 pounds. Here's the post:

BTW, everything but the ZR1 uses the same hood - base, GS, Z06, verts, coupes are all the same.

I just weighed a stock hood without any hardware or liner at 26.5 pounds on a recently certified commercial scale.

It appears that Halltech's website is correct.
