Rear Strut
My 2005 vette needs a right rear strut that has gone out. Where would be the best place to buy a replacement strut?

Not sure what you mean by "strut". Best sources for OEM parts are gmpartshouse.com or partstaxi.com.

I think we know what you meant, but a strut is definitely _not_ just a damper ("shock"). Corvettes don't have strut suspensions.
It's been 5 years. I'd replace all four with Bilsteins. Try Tire Rack.

Struts cost the car companies less money overall, so don't give GM any ideas!

Shocks should be replaced as pairs on the same axle to maintain proper handling.

I went with HDs due to the base suspension. It's a nice ride. If the roads were smoother here in Michigan I may have wanted the suspension even stiffer. I never liked the base ride so after the B.HD shocks went on it is what I would have thought it would be from the factory.
