My car is currently in the shop to have an E-Force blower and other engine mod's. done. I've been kicking around the idea of swapping out my Magnaflow exhaust for a Borla system. In checking the Borla website I notice there are 3 different systems for the C6. I assume one is more aggressive sounding while another is mild. What is the third? The photos make it look like there may be some difference in the tips. Also, are the tips fixed on the Borla systems or do they require mounting and alignment after installation?

It's the "multicore" system which I have on my car. The volume is in between the other two systems and I love it. I'm hoping it remains in my happy zone with my header install at the end of the monoth.
If you search Borla Multicore you will find a thread I posted with sound clips. Good luck with the blower
Edit: Be sure you shop around for prices if this system becomes your end goal; some places charge a fortune for it while others charge the same for it as similar systems.
Others of us may STRONGLY disagree . Care to offer additional information as to why you don't like the Borla sound ? Or , maybe a comparative analysis of the sound difference of the major brands ?

before I did heads and cams, I I had Melrose headers with x-pie and Mangaflows. Car sounded perfect. Then after heads n cams it was too loud. So I changed to Borla touring then slightly quieter but still kind of loud at wot. Everybody that hears my set up now loves it and says it's perfect, I just wanted just a little quieter. It just depends on your preference.
Since my original post I did some more research and ended up ordering a GHL Race Series exhaust. The new GHL is essentialy 2 very small resonators and over the axle pipes. As I recall, GHL's previously had a lot in common with Borla's. I hope to have my car back by the end of the week. I'm planning to leave the Magnaflow system in place for a little while to see how it sounds. If I don't like it I can then swap it out for the GHL system. I thought the GHL was priced right so if I don't use it hopefully I can sell it and not take too much of a loss.

I agree - I get nothing but absolute positive comments. I also installed the touring set-up w/American Catless Headers. It provides a very nice balance with very mild drone.
