I have an 08 C6 A6 stock the car put down 383rwhp. Now with a vararam, Lg longtubes, and Lg GT4 mufflers and a tune it puts down
414rwhp.

have a fast 102 and am waiting on a nick williams TB what kind of gains can i expect with these pieces installed and a re tune.

Thanks

reports are about 15-20 rwhp from a fast intake. If its ported it will be worth more.

Have the LS2 FAST intake manifolds been redesigned, or do they still require cutting and patching the firewall?

Sounds about right. You will gain a decent amount all over the power curve also.

I think it's closer to 20-30.

Their website says about 15-20. 30-38 is ported. You can search the forum and see the results of a lot of different members. The highest I think was 38-40 from a ported one.

The new 102 does not require the firewall mod to fit any models.

We dynoed my 90 before and after 5 years ago and got 25. It's been removed due to no burst panels. I may go back to a 102.

His car isnt going to put down 444 with a FAST added. I agree with 25 or so with a ported FAST on a cammed car. Judging by the numbers I think he has an LS3 and that FAST doesnt net as much. Being its an A6, 414 beofre the FAST is already on the high side for his mods. In fact its kind of leading the pack for auto cars (LS3)

Hey spin are my numbers really that high? My only three mods are a vararam, Lg superpros 1 3/4, Lg GT4 catback, no cats. I dynoed 383 with just a halltec killer bee and no tune. My tuner recomended i swich to the vararam because i cut the radiator shroud for cold air with the halltec and he said i should not have cut it with that intake so i switched to the vararam before the tune. I put down 414rwhp and 406 rwtq with those three mods. I have the unported fast 102, i am just wating on the nick williams 102 throtle body to get to my house to have them both installed. I would be stoked with hitting 430hp. also have you heard anything about the 102 throttle body being hard to tune on the LS3 cars. my tuner said they have had a few problems with them on the cameros.

Thanks for your help

Default Fast Intake plus mods

I have as fast intake 2007 C6 Z51 6speed manual, LS2
442 rear wheel hp. Here is what I did
Breathless Performance Vortex CAI and ported throttle body. Fast intake,
ARP racing headers, COMP CAM. and HP Tune.high flow cats, borla touring system.
Stock heads no porting work.
BM Shifter
The car is fast enough for me .And it sounds like a real corvette should.
Yes they had to cut the fire wall but a lingerfelter patch kit is available for that and you cant even see were it was done.
That plus 15% for drive train losses figures to 508hp at the motor not counting on the air effect from the cai. That's Z06 territory on a LS2 !

there is only 1 now unless you get it used. That is the 102 and you do not have to cut the firewall with it. A stock ported manifold will probably new you around 15-20 hp if its hogged out while the fast when run with a cam has the potential to make about 38.

The OP has an auto car and its an LS3. The LS2 FAST makes a bigger difference. He should make about 20hp less just because its an A6.

The 102 does not require cutting of the firewall. Direct bold on, no other changes.
