I'm doing a widebody but I'm just doing the rear for a few months. So I was plaining on useing spacers on the rear for now, until I can get the money to finish the front. Then I will install my wheels. My question is what size do I need or will spacers damage the car.

I used 1 1/2 inch adapters for the first couple of months until I got new wheels. No problems whatsoever. Buy the hubcentric adapters. They should cost about $50-60 on ebay.
First learn the difference between spacers and adapters. understand
that after 1/4 inch spacer you will need longer studs for the wheels.
Careful measurements will be needed for the right results. Research.
Good luck.
