That requires removing the calipers and bleeding the brake system, correct?
Also, when one gets the powder-coated caliper, that is someone else's caliper. In other words, that caliper could have 50k miles on it, while the one you turned in off of your car will only have 1k miles on it. The seals and piston could be going bad on that old caliper, right?

That is what the DupliColor is rated to. I don't road race the car or anything like that.
I don't think so unless its on the track for an extended time.
If you use enamel type of paint (Rustolium) and clean it real well to remove any dirt and oil, it should stick well. Wipe it down with a commercial paint prep or alcohol before you paint it because mineral spirits/paint thinner leaves behind some oil residue. A fine brush is fine because its a rough casting anyway and the bush marks will level out as it dries.
I would try this before spending the time and money to get them powder coated.

yes you have to bleed it. mike rebuilds them. you should call and talk to him. really good guy.
