Default check engine light, help

Hey guys,

The other day after a hard pull through 1st gear and then a little of 2nd, I got a check engine light. 2005 z51 mn6, runs fine, fuel mileage fine, took to autozone- code says check camshaft to crankshaft sensor or something like that. I brought it to dealer for active handling recall and to fix the check engine light. Well, they reprogrammed computer, which evidently solved nothing because the light came right back on. Any input? Thanks
Scott

Default Change the sEnsor

Okay they should have changed the sensor to the camshaft or crank if that does not solve problem the reluctor ring might be off just go back and tell them to put a new sensor on......

You may need a crank position sensor relearn.

Default thanks

Thank you guys,

Works been busy, going to try and drop it off tomorrow. Hope they can handle it. I was wondering why they just reprogrammed the computer when it was reading a communication error.
