Exhaust question
any help would be appreciated. so i have an 06 z06 with corsa exhaust and xpipe. if i want to run a kooks 1 7/8 headers, will they bolt up directly to my exhaust system? or do i need to buy the headers with the piping and throw away my corsa xpipe?

You need to buy the headers with the matching X pipe and remove your Corsa X pipe. The reason is the headers are much longer than the OEM cast iron exhaust manifolds, so the Kooks X pipe is the connection from the header collector to the pipes just in front of the rear axle. The header X pipe will bolt up to either your Corsa over axle pipe, or a stock over axle pipe.
Are you sure you have a Corsa X pipe? Most of the Corsa exhaust kits just come with the over axle pipes and mufflers with tips. The Corsa Touring system does have an X pipe with resonators, but it is almost as quiet as the stock closed system.
