help fast ( fob problem
guy at a gas station i saw with a c6..hes down the street still confused. anyway...he pulled up to get something inside the gas station. said he put the car in park and went inside leaving his wife in the car with it running. He had the fob with him...he came back and the car is not responsive. it wont start nothing..no electric. We are on an island in nc and gm is comming but will be hours..anything?

I'm confused....but that's nothing new. He left it running? But it won't start?
Anyway, he should try putting the FOB in the receptacle in the glove box, with the buttons facing the passenger's door. If nothing terrible is wrong, the car should start and function properly.

well a post too late. As soon as I got the first response I went back to the gas station to see how he was doing. It has getting loaded on a flat bed. I offered to give him a ride back to his rental house as he was about to get into a taxi. We drove to his rental house about 10 miles away and explained it was an 05 auto with an extended warranty that GM already replaced the ecm..I brought tools to help. He is a president at a community college and offered to give money but I should have said just get me my degree. corvette owners will always help each other..
But yes he left his car running with wife inside while he went inside to get a drink and had his fob with him. said his car shut off and the car was dead..I went to help and he said the tow truck driver took the batt cable off and got the car to respond to the fob but no start..Owell..no responses needed as I dont know him or wont see him again so thanks for the fast replys guy
