O.K., guys and gals, I know this is a well-traveled issue on the Forum, but here goes:
I have a Z51 Coupe and want to install a Z06 Rear Sway bar and want to change the sickly, noisy OEM End Links. I'm already running 19/20 PS2's and am planning some serious engine mods. I've got the Sway Bar and want to upgrade the End Links and go with aftermarket bushings as well. Now that many of you have already converted from the OEM Links, what do you have to say about the replacements which you've installed? TIA
If you are going to do serious engine mods why not just get a Pfadt suspension kit and have something that balances the system.
That will solve your end link problem also.
Aggressor II Package
If your HPDE experience has you spending more time on the track than on the street, the Aggressor II Package is the solution.
The Pfadt Aggressor II Package Includes:
* Pfadt C6 Adjustable Coil Overs
* Pfadt C6 Heavy Rate Racing Sway Bars
* Pfadt C6 Competition Pillow Blocks
* Pfadt C6 Polyurethane Control Arm Bushing/Sleeve Kit
* Pfadt C6 Camber Kit
Our Pfadt Adjustable Coil Over and Racing Sway Bar systems increase the overall spring rate of your Corvette without compromising ride quality when you're not at the track. When upgrading any suspension set up, the most important result is that the shocks and sways work well together out of the box AND provide the driver with basic tuning tools to dial in the perfect set up for the car.
Our Coil Over and Sway Bar combination work amazingly well to keep maximum tire contact with the track. The coil overs increase the overall spring rate of the car without making the damping harsh. We supply recommended starting points that offer a well balanced, well engineered setup that we actually run on our own cars. It’s the best of both worlds on and off the track! Our Racing Sway Bars provide superior anti-roll stiffness and are a crucial tuning tool. We recommend starting with our settings and following our basic guidelines if you decide to make changes.
Many thanx for your input. For the time being, I'm going to be using the Z06 Sway, Poly bushings and LG Endliinks. The Pfadt Suspension package is planned for the long term with Coilovers, Bars, etc., but for now I've got to be mindful of $$$ because of the hefty tag on the engine work which will include TVS2300, Heads and Cam, and driveline mods.
I'm nearing the EOL for the third set of OEM links w/70K on the car. I consider them to be a normal replacement item like tires, brakes, batteries, etc. It will be difficult to find someone with enough useage (mileage) on aftermarket links to give a good assessment as to their durability. By the time I reach 100K, I will have spent about the same $300 that the aftermarket links would have cost me at the 25K mark. That means to be a value, beyond the slight labor to install, the aftermarket ones would need to last in excess of 75K on the roads and conditions where I drive.
Unfortunately, this doesn't directly answer your question. But if I had the answer at the time of the first requirement for me, I could have made a more intelligent decision.
Best of luck, regardless of which way you go.

That's more-or-less my experience as well, except I've gotten even more life out of my OE end links than you have.
The OE units are so cheap and easy to replace that they're tough to beat.
Also, in my experience it's always the fronts that make noise, even if it sounds like it's coming from the back. Last time, I bought four for good measure but only replaced the fronts, and put the other two on the shelf.

I had Z06 bars put on my '05 base coupe. The fronts were shot so the shop ordered some OEM ones for ~$30 and now I have no noise/bumps.
Here is the suspension setup on my 07 Z51, which I have been very happy with it so far. The noise increased a little, but I don't care.
LG Motorsports Lowering Bolt Kit, GM T1 Corvette Sway Bars with Poly Bushings, GM T1 End Links, LG Sport Shocks.
I'm not familiar with the T1 Sways or End Links. Will the T1 End Links bolt-up to the Z06 Bar? I'd like to try the Z06 Sway Bar since I already have it brand new ready to install. I appreciate the feedback.
As I recall, LG has their End Links for about $140. per pair. I can do the install myself.

You should probably go with the LG heavy-duty "quiet" endlinks since you're complaining about the noise of the stock links.
Unless you have a widebody and are running wide sticky tires, the Z06 rear sway may be too much. The T1 is even stiffer.
Believe it or not, one member here that races a lot found that after having his car corner-balanced, his suspension tuner installed a base C6 sway bar in the rear. He found the result to be exceptional.
I personally went with the Hotchkis sways. The rear is adjustable. I have the LG heavy-duty "quiet" endlinks too, but am waiting to have the car corner-balanced.
My LG links only lasted about 6 months before they got noisy too. It was only the fronts that wore that fast. I regularly drive on bad roads and have decided just to use the cheap factory replacements from now on

San
Thanx, San. As a matter of fact, I do have an OEM ZR1 widebody and am running 335/35/20 PS2's which stick like glue.
