Default cleaning throttle body bore/relearning throttle position

Howdy all. Car is 3 years old/13000 miles and I'd like to clean my throttle body/throttle plate. The service manual says that after the throttle body and throttle plate have been cleaned, the engine computer must relearn the throttle position.

The service manual describes the procedure to relearn the throttle position post cleaning. However, although I like to consider myself as having somewhat reasonable intellect, this procedure is awfully complex.

Can someone break the throttle position relearn procedure down for me in simple terms?

Thanks!

Mike

Unaware of any procedure required to relearn TB position post cleaning. I have had my TB off several times and never followed any special procedure following TB installation. I just reinstall and drive, never had a problem.

sounds like something i definitely need to do with over 108,000+ miles. if it's just a straight remove/clean/reinstall procedure:bb
