The 416 yes, the 427 is not recommended although people do it.
They can be built to handle as much boost as you want.

Just add $500 to the cost of the 416 Rod and crank and pin upgrade for the piston for those power levels. We could use the same crank and save $250 of that though.

One thing I will say though is get in early, the waiting list is long for an HKE engine and the winter is when the racers rebuild and engines are in demand.
I wish I could keep them on a shelf but with HKE being a recognized industry leader/expert the demand is far to great to keep up. We do have a semi long lead time.

I know others brag about having a zillion engines on a shelf, but when your in demand like this it's impossible. Unless we just start whipping them out and skipping steps. But then we/HKE would not have the superior reputation we have so its a trade off. Precision engines are not built in a day.

See if Erik would want to sponsor me a 416 or a discount on one. that way I can get my stroker and timeslips sooner. Lol. Next goal is to hit close to 9.99 with a 416 in good weather.

Is there anyway to setup the HKE 416 to accept 6 bolt heads?

It can be done yes but the bigger question is why and how much boost and power are you looking to make?

when i do a motor.. it will require 3 bolt heads.. More for reliability then say makeing stupid power.. i dont want to be facing the issue that some people i know are with 4 bolt heads. If i was to spendthe money i wanted to do it once and not again.

Well I will tell you what Erik said about this in so many words. Its not the cylinder pressure that causes and issue.

He has someone making 1600 hp at 30 lbs on 4 bolt heads. Its the tuning and issues with.... detonation is what lifts heads.

We could certainly do it for you, we build them how people want, but we would advise you differently. In the end its your money and we'll build it the way you like it. If you were looking to make real big power then a better block option would be advised.
