Twin clutch?

Thinging of installing a twin clutch in my 05.What are the pros and cons?What brand would work best with a c6? could this be a diy project?

If you can afford it then probably the GM ZR1 clutch & slave kit for the C6 that is being heavily promoted on the forum....about $1,495.
