Default LSX 6 Bolt Heads

I haven't had a chance to see a set of these heads and compare them to LS7 heads. I have read they have more bolts for more clamping force, but I also read last week that they will work with the LS7 block, and this makes no sense to me.
If someone could post pics of both heads, pointing out the differences, I would appreciate it.

The LS7 block and heads have four head bolts at 90 degrees. The LSx block and heads still have the four bolts at 90 degrees but have to additional bolts spaced between the two top and the two bottom holes at 45 degrees. They are also on a larger bolt circle. When you put the LSx heads on the LS7 block, you just use the four holes at 90 degrees. You don't get the extra clamping force but you get heads that flow better on the intake and have plenty of meat to enlarge the ports.

The six bolt pattern on the LZx is not on a 60 degree spacing.
