First of all I would like to introduce myself, Im nick and live in the chicago/naperville area.
My wife finally let me get my dream car, a brand new Black GS 2010 Vette!
I want to build this car slowly to somewhere around 600HP. What is the first thing you would do? I know supercharger, but that will come down the road. The car is bone stock with NPP exhaust.
Whats first? Headers, Cool Air Intake, Tune?
I will eventually buy a supercharger and dont want to spend a boat load of money on parts that will have to be removed once I invest in the SC.
Congratulations on the GS ! You got the right color brother......well, they are all the right color. But Black is BAD A$$.
I would recommend sticking to exhaust enhancements. LG Long Tube headers, the Borla 3-inch kit with cats, etc. (or other mfg's). You need to decide if you want to keep the NPP. Up to you.
You could then go with a cam that is compatible with the SC unit you intend to install.
Outside of that......well. You want the SC and that's your power maker of choice. Me, I'm all "old school" and sticking with natural aspiration. I'm right at 6 bills on an LS3 and still going........
What are you going to be using the car for? If you're truly looking for 600HP ATW, you're likely going to be looking at FI. I'm local with a cam'd LS3 and absolutely love my setup, but it's only about 500whp.
