Help: TPMS
I have a 2007 C6 that has been modded by ECS (supercharger & meth, gears, headers, exhaust). I am installing new wheels and tires tomorrow (traction monster modded stock wheels, R compound tires). Installer is just mounting and balancing the tires, I am installing on the car. I ordered new TPMS sensors which are being installed at the time of install. Until about 10 minutes ago, I thought I could do the tire pressure trick to reprogram (like on my Tahoe). I am wrong.
I guess I need the TPMS tool. Where can I get one local? Which one do I want? I am in central NJ. If someone is local and available tomorrow and willing to help out a fellow forum member, advise. Favors are repaid with interest.
If I am wrong and don't need the TPMS tool, how do I reprogram without the tool?
You can drive with "NAG" message, but you can't go into Competitive Driving Mode. I just turn everything off.
I'm supercharged too.

For a once in awhile deal, just go to a good tire shop, like Discount Tire/Americas Tire who have a good reputation for knowing how to do it and are usually free. Here is some info that may help for purchase:

Anyone in Monmouth or Ocean County have a TPMS tool or know where I can buy one locally tomorrow?
