Default Oil Pressure Sending Unit ??

I'm having oil readings issues where my oil pressure is locked at max no matter what I do and or restart the car. I was told this unit may be my issue however if anyone has any other ideas that can cause this I'm all ears otherwise I will need to relace the sending unit. Anyone have any instructions with pictures on how to find and remove it. I am a basic mechanic at best and if this is the issue hopefully it's not a difficult job to replace.........

GM advises that the intake manifold must be removed in order to access the OP sensor. However, there is a technique that requires a hole be cut into the windshield shroud that will allow access to the sensor easily. I think there should be instructions and pics within this forum, if you search. Good luck.

I did search and all I found was some very basic instructions ( no Pictures ) but if I have to start removing alot of parts to get to it then it might be better to get help.
